When the whole world hath slept,
When even the light from the lamp,

And his stomach’s churning hath made,
a melody with the clock’s tick-tock…
That he had heard them sing,
Almost in unison,
like in chorus.
His dreams and
his memories….
Both, singing through the pitch black world,
Evading sleep.. And reality…
